Edgar Degas
Edgar Degas was a French artist associated with the Impressionists, though he preferred the term realist and worked mostly indoors, in pastel as well as oil. He exhibited with the group throughout the 1870s and 1880s, and is best known for his paintings of ballet dancers, capturing rehearsals and quiet backstage moments rather than performances.
This collection includes The Dancing Class, Yellow Dancers (In the Wings), Four Dancers, Dancers Practicing at the Barre, and quieter works like The Collector of Prints and Sulking. Every canvas is made to order and labeled with its size against the original painting, so you know the true scale before you buy.
