French
France produced many of the defining art movements of the nineteenth century, from Romanticism through Realism to Impressionism and Post-Impressionism, much of it centered in Paris. Painters there worked closely together, often exhibiting and arguing in the same cafes and salons, and the city remained the center of the art world for decades.
This collection includes Monet's The Bridge at Argenteuil, Degas's The Dancing Class, Cezanne's Mont Sainte-Victoire, and Delacroix's Madame Henri Francois Riesener. Every canvas is made to order and labeled with its size against the original painting, true to its real scale.
