Utagawa Hiroshige

Utagawa Hiroshige was a Japanese ukiyo-e printmaker of the Edo period, celebrated for landscape series such as The Fifty-Three Stations of the Tokaido, which followed the road connecting Edo and Kyoto. His quiet, atmospheric scenes of weather and travel later influenced European painters, including Vincent van Gogh, who copied several of his prints.

This collection includes Evening Snow at Kambara, Pine Groves of Miho in Suruga, Twilight Moon at the Ryogoku Bridge, and Night Rain at Karasaki from the Eight Views of Omi. Each print is made to order on stretched canvas, with its size labeled against the true dimensions of the original woodblock print.
