James McNeill Whistler
James McNeill Whistler was an American-born painter who worked mainly in London and Paris, known for tonal harmonies and moody, atmospheric compositions he often titled like musical pieces, such as Nocturne. His portrait of his mother remains one of the most recognized paintings in American art, though Whistler himself lived his career mostly abroad.
This collection includes Whistler's Mother, Nocturne: Blue and Gold, Southampton Water, and Grey and Silver: Old Battersea Reach. Every canvas is made to order and labeled with its size against the original painting, so the true scale is never in question.
