John Singer Sargent

John Singer Sargent was an American painter who worked mainly in Europe, celebrated for elegant portraits and confident, fluid brushwork that made him the most sought-after society portraitist of his generation. Beyond commissioned portraits, he also painted watercolors and scenes from his travels in Venice, Egypt, and the Middle East.

This collection includes Madame X, Venetian Glass Workers, Water Carriers on the Nile, and Repose (Nonchaloir). Every canvas is made to order and labeled with its size against the original painting's real dimensions, so nothing arrives larger or smaller than he painted it.
