Thomas Cole

Thomas Cole was an American painter and founder of the Hudson River School, the first major American landscape painting movement. His allegorical and wilderness scenes celebrated the American landscape while often carrying a moral or spiritual message, at a time when the country's wild land was rapidly changing.

This collection includes The Voyage of Life: Childhood, Italian Coast Scene with Ruined Tower, and A View of the Mountain Pass Called the Notch of the White Mountains. Every canvas is made to order and labeled with its size against the original painting.
