Michelangelo Buonarroti (1475–1564) — Daniele da Volterra (probably ca. 1545)

Daniele da Volterra was a close friend of Michelangelo and one of the few artists granted the chance to paint him from life; he later gained the nickname "Il Braghettone" for being commissioned to add loincloths to nudes in the Sistine Chapel's Last Judgment.
