Jacques-Louis David

Jacques-Louis David was a French Neoclassical painter and one of the leading artistic voices of the French Revolutionary era, known for austere, morally serious compositions drawn from classical history. His style set the tone for French painting for a generation, and he later served as Napoleon's official painter.

This collection includes The Death of Socrates, Cupid and Psyche, and his double portrait of Antoine and Marie Anne Lavoisier. Each canvas is made to order on stretched canvas, with its size labeled against the true dimensions of the original, so scale is never left to guesswork.
